Enterprise Energy Leads Minnesota Market in 2025
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Enterprise Energy is proud to announce the approval of five new community solar projects totaling a capacity of 23 megawatts (MW) DC. These projects were awarded under Minnesota’s pioneering Low-Moderate-Income (LMI) Accessible Community Solar Garden Program, reinforcing our commitment to delivering equitable energy solutions across the North Star State.
A Year of Unprecedented Growth
This latest round of approvals marks a historic milestone for our team. In the last 12 months alone, Enterprise Energy has secured approval for nine projects totaling 43 MW of DC capacity, enough to power 8,000 average Minnesota homes. With this achievement, Enterprise Energy has officially secured more approved capacity than any other developer in the state’s new LMI program during that span.
This rapid expansion solidifies our position as a leader in a program designed to ensure that the benefits of the clean energy transition reach those who need them most.
Why the LMI-Accessible Program Matters
Minnesota’s new community solar framework represents a shift toward energy equity. The updated program rules prioritize projects that serve low-to-moderate income households, ensuring that the financial benefits of solar are shared more broadly.
Enterprise Energy is setting the standard in this new landscape:
Market-Leading Capacity: Our 43 MW DC of approved capacity leads the developer field over the previous 12 months.
LMI Commitment: These projects are specifically designed to meet or exceed the state's requirements for LMI participation, bringing direct savings to families who have historically been left out of the solar boom.
Local Impact: Our portfolio of nine projects will provide long-term grid benefits and economic stimulus to communities throughout Minnesota.
Building a Stronger Minnesota
"We are incredibly proud of our team for securing these five new approvals," said Eric Pasi, CEO of Enterprise Energy. "To have 43 megawatts approved in a single year—more than any other developer in this program—is a testament to our expertise in navigating the new regulatory environment and our unwavering commitment to energy justice in Minnesota."
