Enterprise Energy 2025 Wrapped: A Year of Growth, Impact, and Momentum

As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year defined by progress, partnership, and continued growth. From advancing community solar projects to exploring innovative financing tools, this past year marked an important chapter in Enterprise Energy’s development journey.

Projects That Moved Forward

Enterprise Energy continued to advance community solar projects across the Midwest, navigating permitting, interconnection, and development milestones in increasingly competitive markets. A key achievement was securing approvals under Minnesota’s Low- and Moderate-Income (LMI) Accessible Community Solar Garden Program, reinforcing our commitment to equitable access to clean energy.

Partnerships That Made an Impact

Collaboration remained central to our work. This year, we strengthened partnerships aligned around workforce development and community impact, including our collaboration with Native Sun and participation in Give to the Max Day. These efforts highlight how clean energy development can deliver benefits beyond megawatts.

Innovative Ways to Fund Development

As development costs rise, Enterprise Energy explored new approaches to early-stage financing. Through multiple successful crowdfunding campaigns with Climatize, we demonstrated how crowdfunding can complement traditional capital while supporting development activities such as site control, interconnection, and permitting.

New Faces, New Energy

This year also marked an important period of team growth at Enterprise Energy. We were excited to welcome Sara Lopez and Daniel Latu to the team, bringing valuable experience and perspective to our development and marketing efforts. Sara’s background and passion for clean energy strengthen our ability to execute projects thoughtfully and collaboratively, which can be furthered below.

Illinois Policy Developments

This year brought meaningful policy progress in Illinois that supports the continued growth of community solar and clean energy development across the state. Recent legislative updates have helped clarify program direction, strengthen long-term market certainty, and reinforce Illinois’ role as a key market for renewable energy investment. These developments provide greater confidence for developers and stakeholders navigating project timelines in an evolving regulatory environment.

We’re grateful to our partners, investors, and communities for helping make this year a success and we’re excited for what’s next.
