What You’ll Actually Do
Be the "Yes, And" Person: Instead of just saying "no" to risky ideas, you’ll find the "how" that keeps us compliant and competitive.
The Contract Whisperer: You’ll draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, EPC contracts, and M&A deals like a pro.
Regulator Wrangler: You’ll translate "Public Utilities Commission" into plain English for the rest of us and keep us ahead of the curve on policy shifts.
Risk Management Jedi: You can spot a potential legal storm from 500 miles away and have the umbrella ready before the first drop hits.
Corporate Secretary Duties: Keeping our board meetings organized, our governance tight, and our minutes meaningful.
Who You Are
A Legal Heavyweight: You have a JD and enough experience (let’s say 10+ years) in the energy sector to know where the bodies are buried, and how to make sure they stay there.
A "Multi-Lingual" Thinker: You speak fluent "Engineer," "Finance," and "Developer."
Calm Under (Battery?) Fire: When things get heated, you’re the coolest person in the room.
A Big-Picture Strategist: You understand that the best legal move is the one that supports the long-term business goal.
